Gearbox "band Saw" Noise

The engine is an 18000 mile 1275 and in all other respects performs faultlessly, the gear change is good too. I was worried that some thing was being chewed
up so I removed the power unit and separated the gearbox from the engine. I was expecting the fault to be obvious as there is alot of fine aluminium swarf in the oil film on the inner casings etc.
I honestly do not know what is wrong as every thing I checked looks perfect and there appears to be no contact between any gears or casings.
Your help on this is much apprieciated.
Many thanks Dan

The rest of the gearbox is currently in the hot wash tank being totally cleaned up before I delve into it's innards!!
I still can't believe that a gearbox can make a noise like this one does with out any obvious issues!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
so i am having a knocking noise in my transfer case. i am changing most of the parts that could be causing this. however i have broken the plastic casing for the roller bearing and i do not have a clue where i can find one. can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
