seen worse but i hate spurious panels, if you're keeping the car stick a genuine one on it.

Like previously mentioned they are not bad and i have seen a lot lot worse. There is no guarantee that an heritage panel will fit ant better. I spent days getting the panel fit on Project Erm as good as i could possibly get and that was on a Magnum front panel which by your picture is the same panel as you have got.

The l/h wing gap to front panel was bad and took a lot of hammer and dolly work to get it close including using sash clamps.
The bonnet gap at the front is good, i have seen worse on concourse entered cars. I have added metal to Erms bonnet to get a nice even gap at the front and down the sides.

By the time you have forced some decent sealant into the wing gaps and then paint you get this

Semkits, these are Aviation sealants which pretty much resist anything you can throw at them. The sealant is flexible, cold resistant and has quite a high temperature threshold as well.

The kits i use are time ex so need to be used quite quickly after the date expiry. They do appear from time to time on Ebay. Upol seam sealer is very good as well with several types available.

EDIT: Sonikk, those joins are fantastic! What sealant did you use? I've had a lot of trouble with cracking paint in the past, so just want to do it better myself this time! :(
