Hey Guys

Are Aluminium radiators any better than copper core radiators?

My radiator has a patch over a crack in the header tank and leaks every now and again, so just wondering what people thought of them compared to the standard ones.

Cheers

alloy rads are good even the Chinese ones on ebay, they offer much better cooling, and fit well.

alluminium rads are good. mainly used it motorsport where the cars has to be light despite the cost. On ebay theres a person who sells alloy rads made in china for chip money, the quality is not as good but no problems to report. Depending on the spec of your engine maybe a 2 core rad would be best.

I don't think things are quite so accessible in NZ as they are in the UK, That was the cheapest one I could buy over here, and with a 1 year warranty I'm pretty happy.... well hopefully once I get it!
