Well.....its now been 5 years on the go and if i could remember how to upload a picture it would look like the one before....
I have since had a second son and bought a bigger house but i am determind to crack on this year, i just pulled the mini out and the rust doesnt apear to have grown. Im going away in 5 weeks with mrs and kids so funds until then are short but i will be buying some panels and gas soon as im back and payday arrives
A full front end and inner and outter sills as a start, i have also picked up a clarke turbo mig welder in the last couple of years that may lay down some better welds than the welder before....who knows

So i did go to the garage today
the weather is horrible so didnt get the car out i did however have a little look around the mini and take all the seats and carpet out to store in the loft. I also found this which is a shame... no idea how its happened really the side windows are out but its in a garage haha must be a leak somewhere but how its angled itself to drip into the car i dont know...
I cant see any damage to the rear seat base yet it still looks ok.
Took all this into the loft to get it out my way
Also placed an amazon order for a few bits..
I am still sorting the rear garden so updates will be slow but more frequent than the last few years hahaha
Also i didnt notice it before, anyone know why these inner sills have these little brackets?
