Another project :)

Brief history, I don't know much more at the moment.. it was my Aunties until 1977 when it was last taxed, it was then left at the bottom of Grandmas garden for a further 33-34 years covered up. Until the present day when she is now having her garden landscaped which means it needs to go, so I did the honourable thing and said I'll restore it ;)

More photos and information to follow.. this will be a very slow project until the '79 is done!

Yeah it's not actually too bad! The only bit left open to the elements was the front wing, which has taken a hit. But apart from that it's just a lot of surface rust. The engine was taken off for some reason by Grandad, unfortunately he's passed away so we'll never know why! but the engine was stored in the garage so fingers crossed it's in a good state.

And it'll be back as standard yeah, maybe increase the CC a little to keep up with modern day traffic a bit easier, but it's only a little scooter anyway.

But it's in a nice dry environment now :)

Got a lot of stuff from Resurection Scooters in bham, plus lots of scooter rallies and off the internet/ebay. Did it all myself apart from the engine which was done at Chislespeed Scooters near Leeds who I can highly recomend if you want the engine done. They build alot of race scooters and really know thier stuff. Any problems drop me a PM and if I can help I will
