I hammered a socket over mine and then undid it. Could that work for you? it would be hard to drill off a nut.

Its fairly easy to drill out your locking wheel nuts, but you will need good quality drill bits (or lots of cheep ones). With my mini, I have always been lucky and been able to hammer a slightly too small socket onto the wheel nut and then off it comes. On other cars I've had I've had to drill them out. Just drill a small pilot hole in the centre of the nut and gradually keep increasing the size of the hole until there is so little metal the head of the nut will just snap off.

Or find someone with a locking wheel nut remover, the AA carry them, (among other people).

I had to have all four done on the Subaru and it cost about £10 a corner, but got them off without damaging anything.

Problem is the removing tool is noisy, and not particularly reliable, but it'll do it...
I think the Halfords tool only works on one sort too, (external form), and not on cylindrical nuts with the internal keyway.
