The scratches are so shallow they woudn't appear, there are about 15 scratches some 4 to 5 inches long 1 is about 8 inches long, but they have no depth. Otherwise would take pics of them, all you would see is the black shiny roof.Any pictures?

Sounds a biy too much like hard work, hoped there might be a black filler I coulld wipe in them, then just polish the surplus off.Still trying to get advice on how to remove the very small scratches in my Mini Cooper 2010 Black Fibre Glass roof.

You could try flatting them back with some 2000 wet and dry with lots of soapy water then buff up with G3, Perfect III followed by the final polish of your choice.

Thanks for the suggestion, what about vinegar or teabags?, just hoping there might be a simple solution, surely I can't be the only one to scratch the roof?.

Not quite sure what flatting back actually is, more used to doing my own nails than polishing cars. I had hoped to just get a man to do whatever is required to the scratches, but will go to Halfords and make some enquiries, from what you say it should be fairly easy to get rid of them. The Polish man at the local Scratch Removal Paint Shop, told me they could not be removed and it would require a complete respray. Its not that difficult to be honest and would not take long plus that would be the end of them. I'm in the process of flatting back my sons mini and the final results are very very good plus there is no need to keep touching up anything.
Turtle wax do a black polish but its only temporary and you will spend more time touching it up.
Try a good T cut instead by using G3 and then a final polish up . That maybe enough especially if like you say they are only minor scratches.

Can you loan me a magnet? Not sure about the fiber glass roof. I've never heard that one before? The easiest way to tell is probably with a magnet though.

Two of my friends have told me about using Tcut, would anybody who has used Tcut please advise me as against AG SRP, both of these products I can get but unsure which one might damage the roof, even more than the shallow scratches.
Plan to tackle it this weekend so please advise me urgently,
Thanks
