Says use hammerite to paint the alternator, but are they not zinc/ally? Surely the paint wouldn't stick/bond properly?? Same applies for clutch etc....?

i painted mine with high temp paint from halfords and its okay :wub:

As said, VHT paint but best to give it a scrub with a wire brush first as ally weathers very quickly.

Ok ta, i might just leave it bare then, can't really afford to buy more paint when i got a load of hammerite lying around :wub:
