Its not going to cause any damage is it, with my engine being fairly high mileage?

Youll never find optimax in a BP :nugget: . Optimax is a Shell product :cheese:I've not noticed any real gains from using Optimax, but the engine definitely runs smoother. I'll use it wherever possible, but I've yet to try BP Ultimate - I never see any bleedin' BP garages!

I think that most informed people know that statement to be erroneous!!! It has been well documented for years that supermarket fuel is chemically inferior to other brands which in turn are inferior to Shell or BP. I remember covering it in my Engineering HND 16 years ago!!fuel is fuel.

i think it must be down the other end of the county if millsmini uses the stuff

nearest to me is asda or tesco's :erm:
although me and sarah both find we do a lot more MPG on tesco city diesel than any other make of fuel

Indeed - which is why I said I've never tried BP Ultimate due to the lack of BP garages! :nugget:Youll never find optimax in a BP :nugget: . My lil Mini drinks Optimax all day long and loves it
