More progress, 2 weeks on the bounce 
Got the back end in the air again yesterday and removed and refitted the shockers with a washer this time, they still clash with the arm, but only when pivoted well past any angle they will run at on the car, so happy enough with that, also took the opportunity to wind the rear hi-los in a little to bring the ride height back to where it should b. Sadly seems to have gone a bit out as the drivers side ended up being higher than the pass side 
Hoped that popping out for a spin would settle it, but that was wishful thinking.
