Hi everyone, this is not a mini problem, BUT I think someone maybe able to help.
I have a Bedford Dormobile Debonair camper van, and have had a break in to my house, and all my keys stolen.
I therefore have a campervan with no keys, and cannot work out how to remove the door handles.
They look very similar in style (could even be the same) as the mk1 mini. (They look like a house door lock with a key in the barrel that stops the handle turning down).
I cannot figure out how to remove these from the van. I have removed the 2 screws from the outside of the door, and would have expected to see a circlip or ball bearing on a spring to allow the shaft (with lock) to be removed.
Unfortunately only a few hundred dormobile debonairs were produced so I don't have an active owners club for them.
Any ideas ?

This is the Mk1 Mini door handle but it is held in position with 2 screws from behind inside the door and a screw into the end of the sq. lock shaft:

Thanks for that. I think the dormobile doors were made with the handles in place, then fiberglassed over !!!
