Just watched the Moke prog. The springs appeared to be of the 'constant rate' type. The rubber cone springs ae so good because they are a pure 'variable-rate' type which means that as the deflection increases, so the rate of the spring itself increases. Due to the short travel of the Mini suspension, a variable-rate spring is really vital for road use. It's different for racing where the track is totally smooth and then a very high-constant-rate spring is OK, but such a spring would be awful on the normal roads.
