Hey Ruckus, saw your car at the stands in Brighton & it was looking as good as always. I noticed you have now got a RF processor below the switch panel, is that a new addition?

I didn't even know there was a sound off at Crystal Palace? Where was it set up? I would have entered my car if I'd known where it was as I've doubled the power to the sub & fronts now so would like to know what it's pushing. I got 125.6dB from a single 10" last year at the SMD, so am interested to see what it is now.

LOL i did post in this section about the sound off and in the Meets section... i tried..

And nope I've always had the EXP2 but in the old car the RDAT (control unit) was mounted on the center console, Which i dont use anymore.

Shot of the old car a long time ago...

Its an Audio Control Epic 160, i don't use it any more though.

Real time voltage and DB meter, with a ' bass restoration circuit' ( bass boost! lol )

Yes, just two small ultra bright white LED's that are flush fitted in to the underside of the rear shelf build.

They are wired in to the rear alarm sensor so only come on when the boots open. :D

Upon reading this thread, I feel like I just stepped thru the looking glass - so many ingenious ideas!

Slightly OT: I saw your other comments in the general ICE thread, in your experience is it conceivable to mount smaller splits in the front and still get decent sound? I'm not keen on mounting them down low, in the doors or cutting into the bodywork.

If you didn't mind cutting a wooden dash you could fit 5.25" mids with the tweeters on the top dash rail.
If you select a good set of 5.25" comps combinded with a good sub there is no reason this could not sound great.

Ill have something for you to cast your eye over ruckus. I`m going to work out my crossover points with the on amp crossover i was talking about.

Unfortunately as i cant find any potentiometers that are accurate enough i`m going to have to create a fixed crossover.

Nice to have variable but could you not swap out resistors if you need to tweak the crossover points?

Just found this thread and just wanted to say awesome job! Attention to detail is brilliant and although the tech speak is a bit over my head will be following with a bit of jealousy! Keep up the good work!
P.s if you don't mind me asking how much would an install like yours cost?
