Ordered Arches Set, Chrome bumpers, new Grill and Mk3 Chrome door handle kit today.

Car Budget now increased from 4.5k to 6.5k, don't ya just love mini's

Carry out all welding repairs and panel replacement
as discussed. Making removable bonnet on hinges.
Paint complete car in black as discussed.
Build up both subframes and fit to car including
engine fitment, replacing parts as per list.
Refit all removed items, cleaning, greasing and
adjusting where required.
Powder coat both subframes.
Replace all door and window rubbers.
Fit new headlining and all glass.
Fit all new items including carpet.
Parts
Sound deadening pads.
Sound insulation kit.
Roof aerial.
Scuttle closing panels.
Outer sills.

All donations kindly accepted Euros or Pound Sterling

Is that 6.5k with or without engine mods? Mini ownership used to be the cheapest way of getting mobile.....Ohh how times change..

No Engine Mods, thats next year hopefully but that does include all bodywork, respray, suspension, interior, pretty much everything except the engine.

the body looks pritty solid, i got mine back from sandblasting lastweek, are you ging to start the welding now?

Yeah that should be starting after the bank holiday, should hopefully be getting it back by July, depending on what else i decide to have done to it whilst it is in the Garage and providing i have no unforeseen money issues lol

Also ordered my new Dash from Custom Consoles on Friday, should have it on Tuesday, will post pics when i get it.

Damn you E-bay and your temptaions just treated myself to some Mk2 Rear lights, z car grooved polished alloy gear knob, Mini polished Alloy Seat Lever sleeves and a Mini polished Alloy Handbrake Grip cover and an overtaking mirror.

Got my new dash from custom consoles today to go with my door cards from retro retrims, had a slight tinker with them so the air vents are now 4", going to fit some front speakers in there instead.

Got my new steering wheels couldn't decide which one to bid for so bid for both ( lol ) bit of a scrub up and they should lok good, leather and stitching in good condition
