Hi All

Soz for the lack of updates, I've been busy with a bunch of boring stuff...

Luckily I got some time in on the mini, or parts of it.

These are just some pic's of what I got up to over the weekend...









So basically I got my hands on a drill and some wire brushes and had a good time with them...

I also ordered some stuff from the UK, but more on that when my order arrives...

Hi All
So I’ve been busy doing odd jobs on the mini, and over the weekend I and my mate Willy tackled the front swivel hubs...

Basically I learned that you really don’t want to strip the hubs after you remove them from the car... Rather do it while there is still some counter force from the gearbox...
It basically cost me a new 3/4" Ratchet with a 1Meter extension pole to get enough torque on the drive nut.

And after it all we conluded that it would just be better to order two new swivel hubs.

Hi all
I finally got some news back on my engine... the heads been ported and has some new valves sitting pretty.
The guys at the engineering shop also matched my inlet ports to my manifold...Every little bit helps.

Awesome project and coming on really well. I think it definitely needs 10's, though. Which wheels are you opting for in the end?

@lourens, nice project you got there. Interesting Mini as well, You said it's a MK3 mini but it looks like a wolsely hornet/riley elf with standard Mini front end, it this a special SA model?
