I think I may copy the panel stands.

I need a couple more and they are quite expensive, even for ones with a bit of a wobble on them.

Your's look solid

First thing today was to sort out the Bini.

Numerous grades of paper got to this

SA1dCGN.jpg

Then it was on with some plastic primer

3le9Rdu.jpg

Then 3 coats of topcoat after the primer was flatted back

Lef9D9w.jpg

Paper removed, some heat and then i cut it back with some G3 followed by some 3M fine cut

7FEVs7q.jpg

Not perfect but it will do. Once its hardened some more flatting will see it good.

Meanwhile it was back on with the sealing, so doors and boot lid now done

Quality seam sealing. I'd never thought of masking it off first. Gives a much neater finish

More taping in preparation for the underside painting

NmHurMY.jpg

Plastic sheeting up ready for paint, hopefully tomorrow if all goes to plan. Its very shoddy but will do the job for the underside. When the rest will be done i will make a decent booth.

Nothing wrong with that!

Are you doing anything about extraction?

I do have an extractor but as to how much it will pull out remains to be seen. Something is better than nothing. I will see how it pans out tomorrow.

How did the extractor work out?

Lets put it this way Ben, it left a nice blue paint mark on the gravel outside the workshop. Ideally though i would need something with a lot more ommpf to get decent extraction. So yes it worked but if i was to do more than Paddy here i would need a much more powerful extractor. Funds at the moment dictate i use something less powerful.

All in all i'm pleased with how this went so once the prep work is completed over the next few weeks then its game on.

And the colour looks similar. Teal Blue??

And Paddy off the spit and on the trolley.

So just as i thought i had cracked all of the sealing it turns out not so. The boot needs doing and also the drip rails. Bugger!! Oh well something for next weekend.
