I agree totally about the Heritage panels especially as they all seem to have gone up in price every time I go to order some. I bought 2 x mark 3 onwards inner wings one side came with the captive nuts for the fresh air vent and the other side didn't. When I queried it with M-Machine they tell me they are all like that. Surely if you do it for one side do it for both! Your work is top quality as always though, so keep your chin up.

Cheers, it's a bit of a downer but that's life with our little cars. I might get back to doing something in a couple of weeks...........hopefully

Wow just noticed you have had over 100 thousand views congratulations

Never noticed, cheers.

Anyway, finally picked up the replacement bonnet plus windscreen and door glass a couple of weekends past. had a cheeky look round Minispares in all its glory thanks to Simon.

Well its a whole lot better than the other one and pleased with it. However it still needed some TLC to fit in the hole. Nothing to do with Heritage this time.

The other side is fine, this one tapers too much

So it needed to be sectioned like this

And ready for a skim of filler and a little bit of hammer and dolly work.

This one has taken less than 8 hours overall. Compared to the other one that cost me over 70 hrs.

The time taken on the bonnet will soon be forgotten once you start getting years and years of pleasure out of Paddy. Superb work as always
