Projects coming on a treat! are you doing anything with the front panelwork at all or just mending the rear half?
Everything is going Alex bar the roof and most of the floor. I have decided i will replace the inner sills and doorsteps. One time visit for this puppy. The front bulkhead is go though as are the inner wings.
Crikey! Proper job! Can I be cheeky and ask if you have no plans for the front wings and front panel to use them on my GT project? Obviously I can offer you some moneys for them or beer tokens or whatnot

The front panel is shagged I'm afraid, lot of pug in the bottom and the wings are being saved for a potential GT project sitting in the corner of the workshop. So sorry bud no joy there.

Oh i wish i could swear on here but i cant so its "BOTHER IT DOES NOT FIT" Yup my new shiny Heritage heelboard does not fit the floor contour on my car.
I thought i was going mad but the floor recess on the car was narrower than the new heelboard so out came the cutting disc.Things got reshaped and happy days it now fits. Sort of, the new panel looks to be slightly taller so needed a few subtle tweaks.
But in the meanwhile there was the odd bit of rust to sort out
so now it all fits

Ta, but not easy, there was a bit of head scratching while I tried to get it to fit. It's in which is good and it all lines up which is even better. HopefIlly the new heelboard will line up with my jig. Something for a two weeks time. Off galavanting in Scotland for a week.

Nice little box of goodies from M Machine arrived this week. So something else to weld in place. And i have decided to replace my doorsteps as well. May as well go the whole hog.
Then it was back on with the heelboard, all welded in place now bar the end sections where i will be changing the inner sills.

On with the rear arch removal today so before
and after
removed arch
Under all of the Ziebarting was rust which was gutting to say the least and it had got between the inner and outer arch joint
So one order later i have two heritage inner arch sections coming. More bloody expense.

That's a shame about the inner arch sections. I'd never even heard of ziebart, I had to google it.
I've been dithering about a full boot floor panel but having looked it again, I think mine is a goner. Threads like yours make body work much less intimidating for the uninitiated like me, so thanks for writing all this up.
