what are the pins called that you use to hold the panels in place with mate?

They are aircraft skin pins, manual wedgelock.

I know what you mean Neil, I just put my order together for a few small panels, silly bits really and it totalled £191.
You can't beat the sight of nice new metal though

Yup new metal is the dog danglies. The discount helps though to alleviate the pain though.

A bit more action in the boot. Trial fit of the rear panel and its not too bad but it did put up a fight
I borrowed Paul's boot to trial fit and it was not good, in fact it was crap
Tight here
massive gap here
and here
not here
so i thought i would give Paddy's damaged boot lid a go and funnily enough it was a relatively good fit
Well end of play today i ended up with this
This gave me the chance to sort out the surface rust under the parcel shelf and along the bottom of the rear bulkhead and a bit more hammer and dolly work. A final trim of the rear panel, drill some plug weld holes and the back panel and floor will start to go in.
Taking my time and being picky and patient now will pay dividends later. (I hope )
