i just chose the colour off a paint chart (it was the same colour as my girlfriends jumper lol)

and the rear seat was made for me at a local company to me

got a little bit done this afternoon removed the sound deadening from the rear quaters and cleaned up all the welds on the rear of the car


i also got the boot floor cut out for a flat boot

Not done anything on the car for a few days but bought some paint for the roll cage.

I also rattle canned a Weller earlier in the year so to see what it looked like might do one of my sets for when i take it on track

Was bored this afternoon so made myself some boot hinges to match my door hinges. Need a bit more work though and not 100% shore if i am going to use them yet

got myself a hole punch and ordered a set of swagers so been putting some holes in the car was a bit bored the other day as well so attacked some of the other metal on the car with a drill lol

Also fitted the engine today was an absolute nightmare went for solid engine mounts as the car will be mainly used on smooth surfaces once it’s complete

removed the seat belt points must have nearly been a kg between the two
Also got the boot lid fitted so it’s slowly starting to look like a car again

Been playing with my powder coat machine lately. I can only do small parts that will fit in the kitchen oven so I have done a set of my 10” Weller’s shiny silver with a candy red centre and the bracket off my kad pedal box

Another toy I have got is a set of hole punches and swagers to put mice holes in the parcel shelf and cross member

Almost got the front end fitted still a bit more work to get the bonnet fitting nice decided to add a few period features so adding some drip rails to the gutter and making the rear window smaller

This is a great project/build.

Another small update got my bumpers from carbon weezle , some rear disk from kad and titanium beam and arms are almost done from force

Got the front end fitted just the pins to fit on the bonnet now. Passenger’s door is fitted and i have made the lock plates and window runners and clutch pushrods just a few more little jobs to do then prep and paint
