how do!
ive been wanting another car for a while now... so i can take my time fixing my mini rarther than having to rush around because i need to use it the next day...
so £50 bought me this...
it has tax and MOT till september too!
personally i LOVE the brown cord interior... lol
obv it needs tidying up... ive got the indictors on the mini at the moment... i used them to pass the MOT! haha
it needs a service and a lambda sensor as its overfueling and one of the brakes it sticking... other than that its all good!

just had fun rebuilding one of the calipers... was sticking piston and the sliders were pretty damn solid...
can anyone explain the point of slide calipers other than to save money when manufacturing?

I wish I could get another car for this cheap... I hate driving my Mini along dirty, wet, muddy, country roads. Its feels like its rusting away underneath me...

got my cheapest insurance quote of £800 today... which im fairly happy with for now...
today i spent the day flushing out the cooling system... it was filled with lots of weird black spongy gravel stuff... horrible it was:S got what i could out but i might just get a new rad for it if it isnt too expensive...
tomorows plan: tax and insure... then go and pick up a new caliper and set of pads from CES... whack it together, bleed the system, wash the car and go for a blast in this passion wagon...

chopped out the old stereo loom today... was the oddest thing ever... but ive now soldered in an IS plug so any stereo can be used... i then knicked my fancy navsure out the mini and wired it all up...
due to the strange shape of the apeture that the stereo sits in, the screen wont come out properly... so i need to work something out with that...
took my 100mm kenwoods out the dash of my mini too and replaced the rear speakers, as they were well and truely spent...
this one was the worst, the cone was so rotten it wasnt attached to the body of the speaker at any point round the rim... fit for the bin me thinks!

whacked on a new caliper and some pads this afternoon, gave the system a bleed, then taxed and insured it...
didnt take me long to almost turn it over going round a roundabout... what can i say? ive been driving a mini for the past few years...
in the straights however it doesnt half have some go in it! tis an overtaking machine!!!
