smear the fence in grease, when the cats go to scratch it, there paws will get coated in it, and then trapse it through their owners house :P or a super soaker works well, everyone knows that cats dont like water, a good soaking and the cats will avoid coming back

Tell your neighbor.... And say if it continues you will charge them for damages. They will deney its there cat. So paint the fence in that anti climb paint and then the evidence that it is them will be left on there paws.... :P

I heard once that you were liable for damages caused by your dog but not your cat. Something about being able to control where a dog goes but not so with a cat. Could have been total b*****s, but not really had issues. I regularly get sliding muddy paw marks on the windscreen of the Esprit.

My dad says anti freeze...not that I condone it, but apparently they like the smell and they don't die (on your property at least).

Shoot Them!!..... but with a water pistol as opposed to any kind of firearm!! :P It's great fun and also therapy for you, plus the fact that cats absolutely hate water so they won't be hanging around for long after that!! :P

Yes this is quite correct, legally cats are not classified as animals (unlike dogs, pigs, goats, sheep, cattle, asses and mules) They are classified as vermin, like rats and pigeons are, therefore you cannot actually legally own them or be responsible for them.

There are devices that are sold that cats can hear but not humans. All you do is put them in your garden and the cats hate the sound so leave. Think I saw some with the gardening stuff at wilkos.

I can hear them... They are horrible things.

as a cat owner myself i find it hard to believe they would damage the mini, maybe a few muddy paw prints, however the fence post being scratched at i can understand.
use a water pistol or even the hose pipe and i sure they will soon get the message, trouble is when a cat is out its a little hard for the owner to control it.

I've heard that, something with them not liking the reflections. I've heard of people putting a few CDs around aswell. No idea if it worked.

If you had your own cat they wouldn't come into your garden, but by the sounds of it, you don't like cats.

The muddy paw prints I can live with, but the scratching at the bumpers I can’t, mostly because unlike most other minis mine are painted not chrome. But maybe I could just spray/polish them with something that cats don’t like the spell of.

If you had your own cat they wouldn't come into your garden, but by the sounds of it, you don't like cats.

Quite the opposite in fact, I really don’t mind cats, even a past ex I was practically living with had 2.
Just these ones seam to be outdoors 24/7 except for when feeding, as they dislike humans and destroy anything they can get there little claws into. :P
