not being rude but WHY you will gain nothing if not more hassle

to be honest a single hif44 (turbo) can make 200bhp+

why t28?

have alook at the gt17 from a saab 9.3

A T28 or GT28 is miles too big. T25 is good for up to mid 200's hp, which is more than you will make reliably with carb/carbs.

Anything is possible with enough money. You would need to get a set of sealed carbs. Custom plenums and manifolds would probably be necessary in order for the whole lot to fit. There isnt a huge amount of space between the engine and the bulkhead.

Bigger is better

Couldn't disagree more, and the reason why many of these Jap big power 'show cars' are useless for anything competitive.

Whacking the biggest turbo you can find on something does not necessarily make it fast or good to drive.

not necessarily
you might be able to get bigger numbers with it but youl be waiting for it to come in due to the amount of lag. unlike with a smaller turbo

No matter how much money you have, a turbo that is oversized for the flow requirement of the engine is effectively a big blockage in the exhaust for no power advantage. As far as shows go it will do nothing much beyond giving those who know anything about engines something to laugh at.

It's your money, and your car, so do as you please. Just bear in mind it will be less powerful than one using a turbo of the correct size with one carb. And a lot slower than one with the same money spent more wisely, like using programmable ignition and fueling.

Bigger isnt better !

A big turbo : lag,lag,lag,lag,BOOST!!!, Change gear
A little turbo : lag BOOST!! BOOST! BOOST!! change gear

Yeah fit a big turbo and it will pulll like a tractor at about 5000rpm but you will need too change up at 6000rpm
Fit a little turbo and it will pull at about 3000rpm so you've got more time with your turbo boosting :)

You need to spend time researching the subject as you clearly have done none.

If you still want twin carbs and a big turbo then let us know how you get on.

Errrrrr, you must mean cars like this with turbos like these- which are used for DRAG RACING. Funnily enough they aren't for show, they make things go very fast, like 0-170mph in 7 seconds.

On a road car- not much fun, but why would anyone spend that much money on something hidden in the bonnet if it didn't actually do something. I've seen much bigger turbo's on drag cars than the one in that pic, and seen street legal cars doing the quarter mile in just over 6 seconds thanks to those "show" parts, that are "useless for anything competitive".

If you wanted a twin carb Mini with a turbo, wouldn't it need to be a twin turbo? And is there room under the bonnet?
