Here's one from the LSMOC Goodwood track day. before I paste the link I am going to say a few things - 1) I was having to lift for the noise meters around the track as I got black flagged for noise with 3 silencers on it (99db drive by on a 96bd drive by limit) 2) I was coasting once out of Madgewick corner into 6th (past one of the noise meters) as this is the straight that really resonates across the airfield and pricks the ears of the marshalls. 3) The Metro cost me at least 4-5 secs through the complex between St. Marys and Lavant corner. 4) I didnt know they were going to be timing the lap 5) I am not the fastest driver in the world - by a long shot. All that said I reckon I can get it down to the low one minute thirty somethings with a bit more practice, a clear lap and no noise restrictions (I should have no problems on a 105db day but they are expensive (£350)). So that my list of excuses........here's the video:
