All the parts i need to complete the project are expensive, seats, master cylinders, reservoirs, tyres etc etc so not much is happening bar small jobs!
the last few weeks have been hectic to say the least!
Alternator didnt work and with its £200 price tag and no way for a swap/refund i was pretty peed off so after 3 trips to the scrappy i managed to find one the same size and pinched one off a daewoo. Its exactly the same size and casing as the one powerlite ones which are selling for £200plus!
Then after my 4th attempt at getting a rad to fit i managed to find one that was perfect, a newer shape metro one, the old shape was also good but a little bit chunkier.
Coilovers are finally fitted on the front but still sitting higher then i wanted front and back!
Cars still not on the road as i still have wiring and the clutch to sort but its very close to completion.
Picking up a Kad rear disc conversion tonight that i couldnt say no too , its money i could of used to finish the car but when someone shows you them in person you cant say no!
Front end fits like a dream and still needs painting.
Suspension needs setting up too
Anyway heres a collection of pics i have to show you how im getting on

looking good.

Ha yeh There really handy to have about!
might want to move that atomizer a little, pointing it at the filters will just make the mess worse if you ever have to use it! it would be betterto stick it to one side of the engine bay.

Thanks for the advice, I will take a look when im back over at the garage

This car gets nicer the more i visit this thread! do you have the headlining in place or not? if not then any chance of a pic of the roof from inside? thanks
No headlining although one could still be used had i not cut all the roof rails off and gutters down.
I will take a picture as soon as im up there.
Thankyou all for the kind comments, keeps me motivated.
I can now run the car everytime im in the garage as opposed to making engine noises with my mouth!
Really badly need to get my seat sorted so i can get my pedal box in place and then take it for a spin

Still... doesn't mean there wont be any updates, still plenty to do!
