Sorry I haven't been on here for a while! Now the cars out of tax Iv taken it off the road to do a few tidy up jobs and upgrades before the miniworld shoot which im still waiting for! To be honest the conversion has been brilliant and no regrets over doing it in fact i already have another shell that im working on that will probably have the same conversion. Iv won another E16se engine off the bay so just need to pick it up. Plan is that due to the surprising bhp this ones got to bore the new engine out to 2.0 better g/b head and cam etc et. Cant see the point in red-topping just yet as this is far more easier to fit!
upgrades .....New carbon bootlid, new custom recaro seat cover, steering column mods, lights with daytime leds ,rear light cases, front light rings, rear diffuser and exhaust

Hope you enjoy,

So a few pictures That my Fiancee took (some before the upgrades)

i think its going to be easier to buy a e16se head and then use a latter block and bottem end, see a few heads kicking about rarely a full engine

Afternoon all. Been a while!

I have now swapped to a X16SZR bottom end as the piston rings were starting to go on the old E16SE

Picked a whole engine up with 33,000 miles, stripped it and it was mint :)

tidied and cleaned it up then painted in high temp

Fitted my new Bill blydenstein head and new manifold/exhaust and fired straight into life :)

This should be in the July Miniworld if all goes well so please keep an eye out for it :)
