I was looking at this at Brooklands, and it is beautiful! Would love to see it blasting pasting on the road though!

Ive just read this thread from start to finish after seeing the car at brooklands. All i can say is ive found my insperation for a project i will start soon.... Got old City E shell and 2litre 8v vauxhall lump. Been toying with ideas for engine for a while and this has confirmed i want to put it in mini so once few projects out the way im going to make a start.

Must of spent about 20 minutes looking at it though getting ideas etc and i was hoping you would be around as front end was off but couldnt see you and every time i walked past i couldnt see antyone with car.

I was going though autojumbles and buying bits and peices all day so didnt spend much time with the car!

Got offered some force racing 10's with tires for a price i couldn't resist so the revos are now up for sale :(and after shaving my minisport 4pot calipers down ever so slightly they fit a dream. Saved another 20kg on the car from these so its currently 560kgs:)
not much more to save now without being anal!

Drivability wise, handlings brilliant, back end slides a bit when giving it on the corners so its abit of a drift machine now!
Parking and turning is less of an effort and i can now get it looooooow:)
Speedwise its great when dry, going through the gears a bit quicker but much much more responsive. still to use it on the motorway but im sure itl be good fun.

In the wet its dreadfull! can't put any powerdown in first 3 gears without it spinning up or snatching away from you! But overall definatly the right decision for me :)
