First off I hope this is in the right place,
Beginning to look for someone/company to restore the mini its not in a bad way at all small rust shown at the bottom of the doors, around the windscreen etc etc the general mini rust I just want it mint for the summer however this will be the first time the body work will be uncovered to see whats lurking underneath since i have owned it, was wondering if anyones knows of good place in my region of where to take the car when i decide to do it probably the end of april.
Many Thanks
Craig

Personally i think Mac's minis charge too much for what they produce. Dont get me wrong its a perfectly good work, just they charge for a concourse finish, which it is not.

If i was to recommend another company to do the work it would be Mick's mini's. Better quality work to Mac's and cheaper. Micks a good mate of mine, hes just a genuine bloke whos very passionate about minis and most rovers for that matter. We work closely with him when it comes to big mini jobs when 2 hands are required or when he wants custom parts made for some of his more crazy cars.

Heaton park coachworks would be my choice, have only had stuff painted by them in the past but the restorations they have been on with when I have popped in look good (and im a right picky sod).

I bought my mini off of Mick at micks mini's, Spot on bloke.
