Any of the Facet pumps will deliver enough fuel for your engine. The standard mechanical pump would be fine also.

The fuel pump only needs to move fuel to the float bowl, gravity and engine vacuum take over from there. The pump does not force fuel into the main jet of the carb.

What you need to pay attention to with any aftermarket pump is the delivery pressure. SUs do NOT like high input pressure from the pump. Ideally, the pump pressure would be between 2-3 PSI. You can go a little bit above that, but once you exceed 4 PSI you need to consider adding an inline fuel pressure regulator (after the pump and before the carbs). Do NOT use the cylindrical, chrome plated, cheap regulators.
(Do not use this type: http://ecx.images-am...L500_AA300_.jpg )
Only use a quality regulator that can hold its setpoint.

The Facet "red top" pumps have a built in filter that can be replaced and they are quieter than the "cube" or "brick" pumps that cost less. However, apart from the noise and price, you are not likely to note any performance differences between the two.

Hi..the red wire in the pic is the earth... I took a power supply from the ign on side of fuse box and took this to a seperate switch then from sw to pump this ( I did when the shell was completly stripped so access was easy) up the A-pillar along the top inner roof strengthiner down the C-pillar and out the tank breather holt in boot floor.............good luck......
