now for the pics of the front of the front end , wings to the front panel, the gaps will be ok when its all welded up as i will closes them up a bit more dont forget this is a ruff fit at the mo just to see if the front end is all strat .
the weekend iam takeing the car over to my work to get sum filler work done to the bulkhead and get all the new panels in primer before welding them on . order the new door steps and lamp repaire panels for the back today so shud be here thurday all being well , so that left to do and door skins left to change and sum bits and bobs to weld up .

Also can you get a few piccies from the scuttle joint please, both sides?
once the scuttle joint is correct and the "gutter gap" is less wide (6mm-10mm), and A-panels fitting correct, you can attack the front panel and wing joints, they are a pain and every one will tell you the same. This needs to be done first always start at the beginning not in the middle
Overall in the pictures the front joints do not look that bad, you can pull the offside and nearside joint easy toghether starting from the light-innerwing joint 1" at the time clamp it then tack it,...do both sides then weld the front panel in it.s final position onto the inner wings,...BUt dont weld till the joint is tight!!
I have seen one guy connecting the front panel with the wings first and then took it to the car, all god however the a-panels where out and wings did not fit scuttle ends, ended up sarting again, don't forget every mini is different.

the scuttle panel gap are great and the a/panels to the doors and wings are all good line up fine so i welded the a/panel on , but what i am thinking about now is to cut down the the lip on the inside of the wing both sides ( just a little ) to help closes the gap up to the bonnet and then roll the wings in to give me the gap size i needs it a mix of genuine and non genuine panels, mixing or just non genuine panels are never accurate and never a perfect fit, thats where you come in and test your patience.
