No got the car in today and it turns out the carb has a hair line crack in it so we pulled the carb off dooles so we can try that to get it set. More updates tomorrow.
vacuum problem then, **** happenz, what is actually cracked of the carb, I have got ton's of spare bits....

well got the mini back today , after pulling the carb off project doodles and giveing it to my mate he tells me this carb is not the best. he said look for a better carb as this one needs a rejet new flow boul and a lot of work to free it up so it will work right . to be honest half the stuff he was telling me was over my head as i know sweet f/a about enegines lol .
so sorry if you are there looking at this going what ?
all i now know is iam looking for a new carb x2 now for both mini's

,is the guy a petrol head?? if you trust his outcome than so be it, what car are you looking for SU4.....Hif38...., I only have su4 carb parts, you want to send me the bad pne and see if I can refurb him 4 you.....prob have most of them bits in a box somewere

hello long time from my last post ,
so here's an update . i got the carb sorted out it just needed a rejet so got the chap from mini world by me in bilston , and it only cost me £ 45 , it run's alot better but i think i may need the change the manafold to a 2 in 3out as the way i cut the exhust cut from the old one to fit the 2" strate throw new one i don't think its getting the back presher it need's as its flat spotting on pull away ?
but here's sum pics after the big clean and there just a few jobs left to do now .
