16 just glad it was not the new panel i fitted before the roof was the last one i needed to work on before painting the car . i did triy to repair it but its to far gone for that and after spending 3 days filling tom2012 roof and it was still not 100% i think this is the best way .

K, to start, take 3000 measurements each window, door etc. Then the famous bracing all over again, but more this time, just can't brace enough in a job like this.......If you are happy with that sofar, you can start cutting the post's,.....BUT.... cut them different length's IE; neaside A post 9" from under gutter down, and offside 10" from gutter down, B-post nearside 6" under gutter down offside 5", C-post nearside cut abobe rear seat belt mount and the otheside 1" lower.
I would even make a point to cut the inside of each post higher then the outside. this way you create more strenght and positieve tension in your car. line the lot up and start measuring agaain and tyweek it till allis 100% lined up, tack weld here and there on each post but re-measure every time again incase you have moved the lot,...in that case start again.
Wayne honestly it sounds terrible but once you get going all is good, P.S. don't even think of painting another car at the same time, you need to be at it full on....

thanks mate thats along the lines i was thinking to , got a few mates that are panel beaters so goin to spack to them to 1st before i start work i think just to get it strate in my own head 1st or may be get them to help out lol f.o.c
As always, succes comes always after good planning, if you got the cutter in yr hand and your not sure,....put it away and go over the whole thing again, there is logic in this somewhere. If I would live closer I would come and give you a hand, but you got a few metal bashers already...... good luck....by the way, what yr is the car and what yr is the roof........?
