Are you on about a complete boot floor or just the rear section where it sandwiches under the rear panel and rear valance?? If its the complete floor then have a look at the Project Erm link. I did one last year.

after work to day got more time on the mini all the new panels have come to  the boot is now in primer filler and just needs flating down with 800 wet & dry, one of the a panels is cut out to got sum small rust holes on the sill & iner wing but i think i can just fill them with a bit of weld as the steel round it good , so all being well i hope sunday i may get the new a panel welded in, it just needs a bit of triming here & there to get it fit rigth then i can start the other side Attached File  26022011233.jpg   505.74K   15 downloads Attached File  26022011230.jpg   426.02K   30 downloads Attached File  26022011231.jpg   554.16K   21 downloads Attached File  26022011232.jpg   1.01MB   11 downloads

This it a trun up for books just been chating the owner of the car now the car is getting fully striped down and then its going off to be shotblasded and diped so we have a better idea of the amount of rust on the car, what do you think good or bad idea :D

it depends what you want at the end, you can see the innerwing holes, flitch reapairs, bad cills and rear arches. you know about the boot and possible floor-panels too, possible scuttle panel repairs,....these are typically all sympthoms from any mini resto project,...so I would forget about shotblasting and dipping, just start cutting out rust and replace, either with new panel or make your own cut-out, and work from one end to the other.

Hi m8 yes iam with you on this one had about 1 & a half hours tonight striping the rest of the inside and when i remove the rear qurt apanel cards all of the inside and on the rear floor looks mint , i think it is just the two front floor pans that may need to be changed all thow there is a little bit of rust the floor looks as if it may have been jacked up in the wrong place to me just looks bent.

All this started just over me asking him about the n/s door as the bottom of it is full of rust and i needed to know if he is willing to pay for a new door or just to repaire it but it's his money at the end of the day
