Lovely looking car, Josh. Definitely deserves to be kept original. I reckon you'll have it looking Showroom in no time.

the plan is to sort a couple of small niggles with scratches and a couple of very small amounts of surface rust fill it with waxoil and use it as a summer / show car and just do things like refurb the alloys and centre caps and find a few nos parts that could do with changing but there will be no mods

That is a cracking little car you have got there, as previously mentioned i would get the waxoyl out, treat any surface rust first paint and then cover it with Waxoyl.

Hi,
been doing a little bit more today i decided i would bring some tools home and take off the front doorcards to sort the door not locking problem which is now sorted but the best bit is all apart from 1 small amount of surface corrosion in the drivers door bottom which we are going to kurust and fill both bottoms with waxoil. and i have filled plenty of other places with waxoil and the plan is to wait untill it warms up and get all the surface rust ground back and have all the paint done and have the wheels and centres painted but in the meantime that plan is to fill every place we can find with waxoil and overhall the front and rear brakes.
Thanks Josh

your cars in cracking condition mate. I had a Mini 25 from that era and it resembled a tea bag.

Good to hear!

Not many minis that i'd want to keep standard, but that one looks great!
