had a lot on today, only managed to get 1/2 hr in garage tonight, sanded the roof cornerpiece and moulded it to right shape ready to go on tomorrow, also made a window corner piece from left over bits and dollying for a while to the required shape, happy with outcome, one more bit tomorrow for in between and welding the lot on , hopefully all will be well tomorrow night.

one stap closer, few piccies from the upper window repair,
putting in-between pice in position

tacked seamed,spotweld and sanded back

it does show some welds under the gutter, and show better when paint has dried, will grind these welds back a bit tomorrow, then seam seal and prime again.

Painstakingly slow, mind you I have got time, I have cleaned up most of the welds under the guttering, and seam sealed it, when I get to it I will round of the window seal lip a bit more.

looks like you are cracking on with the welding. If i was you now trial fit the windscreen to make sure you do not have any issues in the corner before paint.

thanks for your input Sonikk4, although I did take measurements before and after, they are the same appart from the seal lip adjustment. I did consider trial fitting the window and know exactly what you mean,....I will do that after that roof corner repair is done.

That is really super. Graham is the man - the professor of rust removal - and you are his able student.

How exactly did you clean the reservoir? Its fantastic!
