thanks for that, slowly but surely,off-side doorgaps are ok'ish, but nearside ones are frankly way out but will sort that as soon as the engine is finished.....

one step closer, engine block and head are nearly finished,....Dynamo to find and attach and petrol pump,.....box re-furb is next

taking Evy's box apart to find out what is wrong with the 3rd&4th gear shifter fork.....taking most of the stuff of the box and I found this....

I haven't found as yet the lock nut and washer but by the looks of the 'selector screw' most probably being chewed up lol....hopefully I will get a replacement one shortly...

today playing with the box...my favorite...preliminary inspection, 1-2nd synchro not happy and laygear got a few teeth missing, no selector fork bolt on 3rd/4th synchro, but the rest is all good. Rinsed the box with petrol to see if any more bits stuck away somewhere but all good, double roller is shot all other bearings are good, so good clean tmz and start re-building with bits from Guess-Works
