Few jobs done yesterday and this afternoon, finished welding on belly, apart from end valance bits, seam-sealed the lot and sanded it back, then first coat of Por15 rust-prevention paint went on....

Hugh, great to see you back on here, and thank you for yr kind words, I finished Huy'e last year and put him on the road in January, so now it's finally Evy's turn, hope to have her running February next year, how are you getting on with your Mini Sky....few round trips yet, you coming down to the IMM or MITP?

 

I you wish you were still working on your's it is time to start another......you still got the bug.....

few bits done on the twin carb on Huy'e and thought might aswell put the first topcoat  on Evy,....1 coat to go and then 10 days drying time before he goes back on his feet....

cheers, yep this rustpreventative paint from PoR15 is brushable, but can be sprayed to wiv sum tinner added, as I have't got a compressor (yet) I brush it all on, better controll over the thickness too.

tuned the twins on Huy'e tday...again...needs new jets me thinks nd red springs, then I put final top-coat on Evy's belly now we wait for 6-10 days to harden enough for her to get back on her all 4's
