Well, it's a while since someone had a boot as crappy as that on a build !! I see the bash on the old rear panel, but did you replace the lot because it is easier than smaller repairs, as a lot of it looks fine ??

Graham, to be honest the old panel ha a lot of hidden rust but still covered with paint, the bash was not repairable even with dollies and hammers, I did try but in the end it would be a complete patch up of a panel, top and bottum and not worth the time and efford,...the donor panel is good and will be prepped to his new position in a few weeks. All little repairs first and Por15 here and there,......

I used electrolysis on most of the smaller parts on my project. Learnt it off a mate that did most of his Alvis TA14 with it, even the front wings! lol

Just found your project buddy, great job! Your repair panels on the roof and gutters are fantastic, you must be chuffed? Look forward to the end result.

Cheers Duncan, appreciate your comments, this project is just fab, bout 3 hours a day and ye think yr there,.....no chanse in that,.... and then start again.
Electrolysis is indeed a great way to clean and preserve good old usable bits you need again when reassembling, will safe a few bob.
Still need to do her engine and will go the same way in the bucket...
