the long over-due roof repair has started again, having tried the cleco pins I decided to loose them again as they stay not in place with a bit of metal bashing on siteue, so went back to the old clamps again.I can safely say the whole procedure is not an easy one,
I tacked the repair piece

seam weld the bit, (scandalous bad welding, it has been a while...)

sanded flat,

zinc primed it

tomorrow check, when primer has dried in, then seamseal and prime again

This repair seems to have been going for ages, lol, but very nice result. Bet you are chuffed.
things do take a bit time, getting started is the biggest hurdle, next few days I will do the other side and then the rear, but the rear needs a new rear panel at the same time, so a bit planning to do,....what to do first.....probably, brace arches and/to rear bulkhead, to stop movement, then cut out the bad rear panel, do roof repairs and put donor rear panel on,....that is my first thought. What you reckon?

seaamsealed N/S roof gutter
starting on O/S front roof repair, pressy underneath that corner
cleaned the rust off, with grinder wire brush, thought as much, even bigger holes
marked for cutting out, another day
