Personally I recon the the Ka is the spirtitual successor to the Mini, wheel in each corner, underpowered, handles well even on stock skinny tyers and very good use of internal space as well as looking very different to evry other car when it was launched.

i have a mk2 golf 1.4 but i love lupos its the only modern car i like, the old KA was so ugly! i dont think i can say its like a mini, but i know what you mean. heres the thing though, we should try and find a new car that is more like a mini then the bmw (so that shouldn't be hard) this is not a bini bash, its a practical topic. also its interesting to see how many car designers where influenced by the mini

I said that about a year back, and got shouted at! Even to the point where the Ka stayed the same for 14 years, not the 40 of the mini, but not a bad effort nowadays.
Shame about the new one, but we'll rectify that soon I hope!

fiat 500 is a good shout

Unfortunately the Fiat 500 is the new, erm, Fiat 500?

The Fiat 500 is probably more of a successor to the Fiat 500 really. Fairly obvious that.

Nissan Micra looks quite abit like one.

Well since Nissan designed it after reverse engineering a Mini it's not that surprising.
