Today see the start of the Historique Monte Carlo Rally. As has been well publicised through Miniworld, Minimag and various forms of other media, there are several Minis competing in this years event. The Bill Richards/John Morrow of the Mad Dog Racing Team set off yesterday, and will be updating their progress on the rally as it happens via Twitter. We have set up a new feed via our website so anyone can see their News and Updates

Best of luck to all concerned.
Just one question (I suspect I know the answer already) but is there any Television coverage of the event?

Photo call for the cars of Bill Richards (car 321) and Alastair Vines (car 282) who are being supported by Mini Spares in this years event.

Photo call at MINI Plant Oxford. From left to right Peter Barker (Car 273) Jeurgen Heidreich - MINI Plant Director, Paddy Hopkirk - rally legend, Richard Norris - Plant Oxford Mini team, and Nigel Chetwynd who is Service chief (Car 282). Nigel Chetwynd took CRX down to the Mini assembly Plant at Oxford to participate in a photo call with Paddy Hopkirk and the Plant Oxford Mini team. The Oxford team have been very enthusiastic about finding ways to help the Mini Cooper Register rally team, and have been able to provide some tyres and clothing which some team members have been able to take advantage of.
