I have a rover metro 1991 on a h plate But not really intrested in that... It has a 1.4 GTA Metro engine in it with auto-matic choke.. has done 55k from brand new with one lady owner being my old gp hence why i bought the car... its auto, and sat on my drive any ideas what its worth? I know people are only going to buy it for the engine... soo.. i can also say that it has disk breaks and 12" steel wheels all should fit a min and a decent interior... so some rough price guides to ask in parts and as a whole would be amazing :D

THANKS GUYS!!

Does it run, has it got MOT & tax ?

If not. it'll be worth it's weight in scrap.

Lol well we own a scrap yard and i think it would be a shame to scrap it.. she starts runs and drives lovely just parked up on the drive so tax and test has ran out... but i cant see any reason for it to fail!!

Didnt know they did a GTA in Auto, used to have a red Gti, that thing flew wouldnt mind another,
mum had the Gta, looked ******* but easily as quick as the Gti, proper wolf in sheeps clothing, expecially as she filled it with cuddly toys.

value does depend on condition really ball park £40 - £150 at a guess?

Oh no they won't.

The engine is a K-series so only going to go in a Mini if someone is doing a 16v conversion (and there are far better 16v's out there if people are going to that sort of effort.

The brakes are nothing like the Mini - more closely related to the small Rovers like the 200. They are a single pot sliding caliper.

I highly doubt that they are 12" wheels and the Rover Metro has a different PCD to the Mini. If memory serves they went back to the old Triumph PCD of three and three quarter inch (your guess as to the reasons is as good as mine).

Hence it's worth next to nothing to most of the people here so whatever you can weigh it in for or flog it for parts on evilbay.
