Over the past few years I've been undertaking a complete strip down and rebuild of a 1985 Ritz and now begins the job of trying to put it all back together. I've bought masses of new parts, uprated parts etc and some come with new nut/bolts/washers etc, however a lot don't.
I'm wanting to make the rebuild look tidy afterwards and obviously don't want to be re-using old nylock's and spring washers or bolts with the threads crossed/cants rounded off.

Question is - does anyone know where you can buy a complete (and I mean really complete!) set of nuts and bolts for a Mini? Does such a thing exist? If not, does anyone know if there is a complete parts listing so I can cherry pick the mammoth amount of fasteners I need please?

Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of!! I use MOSS - Click Here for fasteners (nuts, bolts, studs, washers etc), as they have good exploded diagrams on their website that detail every single nut bolt washer etc for each of the systems on the classic mini. If you can't find what you are looking for then give them a call and ask to speak to "Oz", he's their classic mini "guru" and will be able to point you in the right direction.

Titanclassics do some tasty titanium bolts for several areas on the mini which won't ever rust or corrode but perfection does come at a price but is modest in comparison to another company that make titanium mini bolts and such. Also smiffy bits do a lot of stainless stuff but i wouldn't use their tie bars or bolts for attaching really important things such as subframes and stuff as stainless steel cracks and brakes when put under far less stress than what steel can handle! So just for piece of mind i bought titanium stuff for that:) I think MRA minis are supposed to be good general suppliers.Regards Blue

You could try SmiffyBits, I bought a rear subframe mounting set from him at SMD last year and he had a stand full of different nut and bold kits. All his stuff is stainless steel so a complete cars worth isn't going to be cheap. http://www.smiffysbits.co.uk/

Adam
I feel there could be a need for it >_<
Someone always seems to be asking!
Would be good if they were bagged with a list of what they would replace,
And the correct grade.
Would be a lot of work though, goes off to count bolts...............
