What year or model of MINI are you asking about as the engines and fuel consumption figures vary quite significantly over the years since 2001.
ie. Mk1, Mk2 or Mk3, One, Cooper or Cooper S.......also petrol or diesel?

Probably a later mini and a petrol version.  Not really thought about a particular model yet.

I was just interested as I had heard that they were a little thirsty.  Used to have a BMW One series and that was terrible on fuel.  Just starting it would take 1/4 of a tank  :D

Thanks

I have a first gen cooper with a remap, decat, big exhaust and few other mods and it is excellent on fuel, I drove from London to Cornwall and back (not hanging about either, and having fun in the country) and used 3/4 tank
I thought that was good

This thread has led me to seriously start looking for an R53 Cooper S JCW.  Need a fun daily again!

Love an R53 me. Serious contender when I got the 9n3, but the fuel bill would have been a bit too steep for my liking!

998kid. That's on APs :) that's maxed out on the rear, but front is sitting around the same on tyre and still has about an inch to go lower if wanted. ******* Airride :P no rubbing what so ever. 16x8 et35. Can't remember what my mate set the camber at for it to tuck snug.

Just watch with APs as the springs are really soft. With just me in the car, it goes down another half and inch or so, with someone in the rear it almost tucks lip :P

Oh no them ones are 17s, I've had 16" 3SDMs on before and got it sitting about the same too.

Sorry about all the edits mods

I'm getting a 2007 Clubman in a few weeks :D so my beloved R50 will be for sale soon :(

Been an awesome Mini to own :D still think the early ones are the best looking.

How he's currently sitting.
(He will be going with the boring S bumpers on) no offence S owners :P lol

We should get our clubman back next week with it's freshly repaired door, we have paid extra for the car to be machine polished as it needed doing anyway, I'm missing it more than I thought I would, great cars imo.

What's it like on fuel?

Can't wait to get mine. I'm keeping it standard, will just plug in the Scanguage and that's it :D

My current mini is around 50-55 mpg on a good run and about 38 mpg give or take a couple around town. I drive like an old fart though :P

Ours is a non S Cooper, we get around 46mpg over various runs. We had diesel focus before which was better but unleaded is cheaper and it has no DPF filter!

The clubman is just a Cooper, but is in a colour I've always liked on them... Brown :P and it will be staying totally standard.
