Well it's come off a DS 'S', but is definitely a GP. Looks just like that brown mini above. Can't remember bit I swear mine is smooth on the side of the grille. I'll grab some photos when I can as its with my S bumper at my sprayers. Only 1 little tab is broken on it. When I was looking for my S bumpers, a lot always had damaged fixings. My S one I'm selling is like a brand new bumper but don't need now

Changed all my run flats for normal tyres today, laser alignment done, fixed a rattle (handbrake chrome bezel), repaired the broken rear light by drilling and screwing it hoping that was the rear rattle but nope! Run flat warning has come on but I've followed the reset procedure so fingers crossed it will recognise the new tyres now? MOT and full service being done on tuesday, expensive month! Normal tyres are much better so far though, you can drive without gripping the wheel all the time now, anyone fitted a spare space saver wheel from a vauxhall to one?

 
The first thing I noticed when replacing my runflats with normal tyres was a smoother ride, more grip and no tram-lining plus much cheaper even for a good tyre brand.
Does the Vauxhall spacesaver fit over front and rear brake calipers or do you have to swap wheels around depending?

I'm not sure, I had a Focus before and that was the same if you had a puncture on a front wheel, better than nothing I suppose?

Drives much better as you say, the wife has gone to manchester and text me to say how nice it was, like a new car she says! I've had 4 Falken ziex 195/55/16 fitted and the alignment done £340 all in, a pair of run flats are what £240?

Knocking at the back is pointing to the ARB bushes hopefully be done on tuesday with the service and MOT, it's very occasionally misfiring now too, cars eh!

Dark silver cooper S. He got it from a proper GP. I need to get it sprayed again anyway as my mini is pure silver.

I need to get some decent photos of my car in general. Can't wait to get the bumper on and got another little special something from the same cooper 'S', but originally from a GP

Slowly getting how I want it. Dying to get the 7 slots back on though. Not to everyone's taste but they're going full polished. Was going to do candy purple but changed my mind

PITA to fit a genuine GP one as it needs the boot lid aswell, I'm not sure if there's any Reps about at the mo

Heres one for the R56 owners out there, I had my Clubbie in for its MOT and it passed with only the rear tyres throwing up an advisory. I was shocked considering the work that went into it and problems it's had. I know the garage had to level the headlights but now they no longer sit flush with the bonnet rings, has anyone had this happen with theirs?Its not the end of the world like, but the gaps are uneven and annoying.Also anyone had their tappets replaced? Mine needs doing, yet another issue. Other than that, love the car

Petrol or diesel? I'm not aware of adjustments being possible on either engine. My r56 petrol used to make a ticking noise from new.As for the headlights, just put them back to where they were....

Petrol Cooper s mate, I have read of some with the tappets issue but I haven't heard of people replacing them

Don't confuse a loud tapping with the well known and documented "death rattle". This affects the turbo N14 engine you have in your car....

The force was offered the chance to trial the new Mini as a concept vehicle a year ago with a diesel Mini from BMW tested for its effectiveness in neighbourhood policing.

Having been used in East Sussex for the past 12 months, the Mini has now moved to Brighton and Hove to see how effective it could be.

Dennis Ord, the head of joint transport for Surrey and Sussex Police, said: “The aim is to see if the Mini can carry more than a Fiesta but is cheaper to run than a Focus.

“It is a low-spec Mini and was nearly new when we got it so it is in warranty for another 18 months and has so far proved very popular with the officers who have used it."

That was good but the news race car wasn't well driven really. It was a poor start and in theory he should have won that. 

 

Out of all of them, the 2013 GP is the one I would want. Unless I was solely using it for track use, in which case either of the race cars will suffice. 

 

Hopefully I can win the EuroMillions tonight. Then I can buy a few cars and a race track.
