That car at the bottom right of the picture looks familiar, and I have to say, I found the advertisements for the Daihatsu Sirion very persuasive too!





It's nice to see the modern and classic scenes coming together slowly but surely. Was especially nice to see the new MINIs making it into the main hall at Staffordshire Mini Fair in January.

As others have said, I'm very much looking forward to seeing MINI's new 'Rocketman' concept entering production at some stage. I know someone has already put down a deposit on the car - very brave, but they'll get the first choice of colour, trim etc.

There's even talk of MINI making a JCW version of the Rocketman. Discuss...

I've put a deposit down for the rocketman MINI with my local mini dealer, if the car is not put into production I get the money back, simple as. The rumour had it that it will enter production soon after the gen 3, 2013-14.

This is more like the production version of the rocketman that is likely to be built. Again to be built in the uk. Some of the items on the concept car are likely to cross over, such as the double hinge doors. There is talk of a mini one costing under 10k,cooper, cooper s and a JCW costing 16k all will have the new engines built in the uk.

I like the BINI, just not keen on the Clubman or especially the Countryman.

Yeah that Alpine is pretty extreme. But it's a sales gimick so it had to be flashy. It one seat and stearing in the center.
