Some of those look awesome, especially the time attack ones.

Might have to have a hunt round on YouTube later.

I've always wondered why the rear wheels of modified cars are slanted, or is this a stupid question?

or the tyre could be streched, which add to how much it appears to be slanting.

On cars with non-adjustable rear control arms, as you go lower the RCA has to stay the same length, but the distance to the hub has got smaller. So it pushes the wheel into negative camber so not to distort itself. You can then buy adjustable rear control arms to adjust the level of negative camber if you so wish.

Race car build going on at the moment. These guys started with an unused shell from the factory. Proper ground up build, few people on here should appreciate that >_<

That's the one I was talking about. Love at first sight for me. Every other out-the-showroom MINI... not so much.

None of you would hate them if you didnt have a classic, did somebody say bandwagon

thats not true, i dont like the new vw beetle and i have never owned a classic one, for some it will always be a resentful thing with bmw, for others its just a car they think is ugly.

then there is others like myself that are neutral on them, i do like the racing ones though.

I wonder if Rover/BMW (whoever was actually responsible for the design of the MINI) got the idea of the bonnet taking the tops of the wings/lights/grille with it from the community and its obsession with flip fronts?

The MINI GP nice cars and are good at holding there value. A good used one will fetch around £12 to £14k not bad for gen 1. I would love one >_<
