Got a quick question, are micra conversions any good? Because like, micra's seem slow in my eyes i guess (i'm probably horribly wrong.) I'm not trying to be nasty or anything. What are the engine specs?

In standard form the CG13DE engine from the 1992 on is 1275cc and puts out about 80bhp

It weighs less than the A series and you get a FREE fifth gear.

Done properly, there are no body modifications needed. So reverting to A series is simply a subframe/engine change.

a friend of mine was running a 1380 turbo and was scared to thrash it in fear of blowing it up. he drove my conversion and his comments were that there wasnt much difference between the two cars performance on the road. I couldnt have built an a series engine with this sort of power and reliability for the cost of this conversion. Also, as said there is no body mods in fitting these. all inner wings are intact and is all reversable if you wished to go back to an engine designed in the 50's. With this engine in, the car still feels and drives like a mini. A conversion that puts a smile on your face without breaking the bank.

There not that slow mate i used to have a 1.3 k11 and it was pretty nippy (although im sure it somehow had the rev limiter taken off because i could never bounce it off the limiter no matter how hard i drove it). Hit 65ish in second. Used to take alot of cars up to 2.0 off the lights (such as standard mondeos, astras etc). My dad used to have a job in his vectra gsi v6 to keep up till about 80. An still got around 40-50mpg.

Excellent build by the way, i think you should get some vids of driving on the ol utube.
