Sorry but the repeating of these outdated stuck record comments are not helping at all and we are going round and round! Can we have a debate with out them? No seems not at all with certain people. Read the comments about this forum on facebook and there not very favourable to wards it with the comments, and as a new mini owner I will stand up for this site but sometimes I don't think I should!

You would be surprise how many have both cars and how many new mini are members. But I'm fed up with this "german" comments! The cars built in Oxford by British workers only the parent company is german! And anyway try telling my mate whos 1999 mini is german as it wad made under the Germans! Just look at the back of the manual!

But i think u'll find the facebook coments are not towards the bini, but the over moderation of the forum.

but its not a bini supercharger is it
wasnt made by bmw so not a bini supercharger, was made by eaton and only used on the bini
so yeah i would bolt a bini supercharger on it, knowing its not a bini charger, but an eaton one
So equally then you'd be happy to use any componant on the car that wasn't made by BMW and subbed out to a 3rd party? I'm no expert but that would include a VERY large portion of the entire car.

they are made in England and predominatly designed in England funded by BMW
good cars just not a proper mini!
as said earlier mini's were funded by BMW since 1994!
so they were still making "classic" minis for 6 years before releasing the bini
just f'ed the name up i think!
my car is predominatly german as its a mini cabriolet
cabriolet being a german word
but its still a mini!
its the name that f's me off!
i'd buy one if they potrayed it as the proper minis big brother
mini2 or something!

Are some people on here just replying for the sake of a row And not giving helpful ideas? It's a wonder why people don't come back on the forum!!!
Here's a helpful idea...those interested in owning/discussing classic minis use TMF......those that don't own.wish to discuss the classic mini, and this includes the majority of bini owners, use a forum that is more atune to their needs. Of course, if they arrived here, we would welcome them as long as they wanted to take part in the classic scene, if not, direct them to mini2 etc.
by the way. There are loads of members that DON'T want bini owners coming onto this forum just to try and get the bini the heritage it does not deserve.

then you said it yourself shifty, were not as popular as we think we are, the forum will still go on, but with alot less mini enthuaists :/
And why should this happen?
If the least popular group leave and are then replaced by a more popular group shouldn't the numbers increase?
