maybe abit to good in the cold weather though.
I find the same problem, the needle hardly gets of the cold mark on mine, but I'm planning to use the drain hole for a secondary temp gauge.

They are very good price and hold the water so pretty good alternative is you've got the cash to spare, also when you order they give you a tracking number so you can follow its progress which is nice.
But as a few people found the threaded holes for the rad cowling are pretty poor and they dont fit the original bolts.
I also found on one they flooded the hole with weld so I couldn't use one. But I just forced the bolts in...I prlly will come to regret that
